I'm fairly rubbish at pattern cutting, but quite good at cobbling together.

I was aiming for a romantic dress I saw on the back of a magazine. The dress shape is okay, I just need to grow my legs and get pretty to match up to the original.

The teardrop pattern around the hem set off the design for the rest of the dress.

.

The teardrops gather around the neckline, then spill over and fill up the pocket. The pocket overflows and they fall to the hem.

The spaces in between will fill up with lists. Written upside down, for the benefit of the wearer.

Because a list only make sense to the person who wrote it.
