I'm really excited about the potential for this textile material to be used as a skirt or coat.

I've enjoyed wearing the toile for this maxi length wrap-around skirt, and the pattern looks fabulous spread out as a flat piece of textile art as well.

The simplicity of this skirt pattern means that it is very flattering whatever shape or size you are. I wear it wrapped around nearly twice, so I don't worry about it flapping open , and it's also comfortingly warm and heavy.  The waist ties go through large 'buttonholes' around the fitted waistband, making the fit very secure and comfortable.

The first appliqued skirt!

There are nineteen pictures in total. This skirt is, like the toile, long enough to wrap around more than once so not all them would be visible at once. The beauty of the simple design means that either end could be worn at the front.
